Personal Tax – wherever you live you may find that some of your assets come under UK tax law. If you live but are not domiciled in the UK your tax affairs are dependant on your UK income and capital gains and may include other income if remitted. Directors and Secretaries Role – where it is more convenient or through local laws requiring certain directors should live or be based in a particular country – Wilton can provide the role of Director and Secretaries to the companies. Wilton will make sure that the secretarial role is completed correctly and on time.
Companies House Administration - In the UK, all companies (whether they have traded or not) have to complete an annual return and send their accounts to the main records library of UK companies. This is a legal requirement and can result in the company being struck off if not completed in time. Many other countries have similar requirements and so it is necessary to ensure that this role is completed correctly.
Accounting - The maintenance of the books and records and the preparation of the management accounts can be subcontracted if suitable. Many companies will prefer to keep the book keeping in house but should this be very simple and no involve a full time person – it may be better to subcontract this to a company you can trust.
Trust Formation and Administration - The ownership of the assets may be better held on behalf of others – particularly members of the family. The creation of a trust is a way of ensuring that the company does not have a change of ownership should control pass to a new generation or group. A Trust also will provide for confidentiality, security and exercising of control on assets that you have created.
