The highly experienced team includes qualified chartered accountants, tax planners, chartered secretaries and bankers. Wilton has 90 employees with offices in London, Bristol, Isle of Man, Dubai and Dublin.

To manage an allocated portfolio of properties, providing efficient and accurate administrative and day to day management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out various property management tasks as directed
  • To assist the department to implement Company policies and procedures to an agreed standard
  • To participate in Companywide initiatives both internally and for external clients.


Property Portfolio – To carry out but not limited to the below tasks:

  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to required standards.
  • Oversee day to day maintenance of properties within the portfolio.
  • Attend client Board meetings, including AGM’s and Directors meetings if required.
  • Oversee day to day reactive, contracted and cyclical maintenance.
  • Assist with the project management of major internal and external works along with the relevant surveyor or relevant professional consultant.
  • Liaise with local councils and government bodies and police to adhere to relevant regulations.
  • Manage hard and soft copy data and e-mails and ensure all client files are updated.
  • Deal with Landlords/Tenants queries verbally and in written form.
  • Issue and ensure collection of service charge and ground rent and rental incomes.
  • Produce budgets, including reserve funding for the forthcoming years for Board approval.
  • Oversee budget, yearend accounts memos / accounts and monthly client statement process to ensure that timescales are met and review accounting information to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage expenditure against budget throughout the financial year and produce reports as required.
  • Carry out regular site visits to ensure all buildings are in good order.
  • Ensure insurance claims are being processed efficiently and correctly.
  • Circulate information to residents concerning management issues.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and that General and Fire risk assessment recommendations are implemented across the portfolio.
    • Have and continually update legal knowledge and understanding of relevant leasehold, Landlord and Tenant Act, Section 20 Notices and related lease restrictions and covenant issues.
  • Review and agree all internal & client correspondence ensuring that communication is regular and accurate.
  • Draw up short hold tenancy agreements, take the KYC and arrange the necessary credit checks.
  • Deal with renewals and rent reviews and increases as necessary.
  • Bill the clients for property Management services.
  • Produce Board reports on the department.

Hours and Environment

9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may sometimes need to work extra hours for emergencies and will be an out of hour contact for the tenants for emergency purposes only.

Your role will be mainly office based, although you will also be required to arrange viewings and visit the properties within the portfolio, as well as to attend meetings on site or in the office as well as conferences.

Skills and Attributes

You should have:

  • Knowledge of relevant Landlord and Tenant Act, RICS and ARMA Guidelines and Regulations and procedures and best practice on disseminating residential block property management advice. A qualification in IRPM or ARLA or RICS
  • The ability to carry out presentations both internally and externally.
  • The written communication and numerical skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports.
  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel skills.
  • Experience in leading and working effectively in teams.
  • Experience in supervising external onsite staff, and providing feedback to the client
  • Basic bookkeeping skills.
  • A commitment to providing customer service.
  • The ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes.
  • The verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with a diverse client group and internal staff.


You should have at least 3-5 years experience at residential/block property manager level and have managed a dedicated portfolio pf properties.


Essential qualifications are :

  • IRPM Part 1 and Part 2

Desirable qualifications are:

  • Property Management related or other relevant undergraduate or post graduate degree.
  • AssocRICS or higher RICS membership status
