Tony Barber
Chairman
Tony Barber has been Chairman of the Wilton Group since 2007. He is a Director and Consultant to a number of companies in the financial services industry. Until 2007 he was a Commissioner with the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission having held this position for nine years. Prior to his retirement, he was Island Director, Isle of Man, of RBS International and he served in a number of varied managerial positions within the Royal Bank of Scotland Group over a 35 year period.
Tony Flanagan
Group CEO
Tony Flanagan is the Group CEO and Founder of Wilton. With over 25 years of experience, Tony possesses a wealth of knowledge in areas of taxation, trustee services and corporate finance, helping clients and businesses in the UK and internationally. Along with advising companies on acquisitions and fundraising, Tony has acted as an advisor to the board of both Albemarle & Bond Holdings Plc and OPG Power Ventures Plc in respect to their admissions to London’s AIM market. Tony has also advised luxury fashion and technology start-ups such as Farfetch, from initial concept through to their recent listing on the NYSE.
Nicole Hewson
Executive Director (Group)
Nicole is a Founding Member of Wilton and has worked with Tony Flanagan in our London, Dublin and Isle of Man offices. She qualified from University College Dublin in 1990 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Nicole is a main Board Director of Wilton Group and she manages a diverse portfolio of high net worth clients. Nicole is highly respected in and has served as a Director of the Islands professional body, the Association of Corporate Service Providers. Nicole’s professional attitude ensures her team delivers a customer centric offshore service.
Denis McHugh
CEO Pension Services
Denis has spent over 20 years in financial services with blue chip companies, having worked for Aviva, Mercer and Davy Stockbrokers (Dublin). Denis is a member of the Pensions Management Institute and he holds various qualifications in pensions and stockbroking plus a degree in computing. Denis’ expertise includes pension product design and trustee services.
James Robson
Head of Financial Services
James is the Head of Wealth Management at Wilton. He oversees the Financial planning, Investment management, Insurance and Lending affairs of the groups clients. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and works with individuals, families, charity’s and trusts to manage their wealth.
Theunis Bassage
Head of Corporate & Legal, CEO Isle of Man
Theunis has 27 years of corporate legal experience, 10 years of which have been in Corporate Financial Services. He also worked as In –house Legal Counsel for an unlisted public company and for a large financial institution. Theunis is a South African Qualified lawyer having practiced as a lawyer for 6 years in a commercial law firm.
Natalie Mitchell
Family Office & Business Support
Natalie oversees the broad remit of the team from property management and marine services to monitoring client satisfaction. Natalie has established an enviable reputation within the Professional Service sector for delivering an efficient, speedy and streamlined service. Her approachable style of management helps create a strong team ethos that is reflected at every level of her operational activities.
Alan Molloy
Non-executive Director
Alan is a non-executive director of Wilton’s holding company since mid 2018. Alan is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investment and a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland. Alan has lived on the Isle of Man for 30+ years, with much of that time spent as Managing Director of a British private bank, which provided wealth and asset management services to high net worth individuals and families.
Wendy Nicholls CIPD
Operations Director & Head of People – Wilton Pensions
Wendy is a qualified CIPD and started her career in the recruitment industry but has been operationally running businesses for over 10 years. She is passionate about creating a positive customer experience and is systematic in her approach to continually refining processes and developing the way that Wilton Pensions interacts with all its business partners.
Paul Osbourn
Head of Corporate Finance
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Paul was formerly CFO for an Isle of Man based, Johannesburg listed Real Estate investment group, having previously been a London-based partner of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Chief Executive of Deloitte’s Corporate Finance business in Bahrain.
Damien O'Donohoe
Chief Operating Officer
Damien has operated as COO/CFO and has 25 years experience in M&A, integrations, turn-arounds, start-ups, transformations, holding companies, and sale exits. Damien has been a part of leadership teams that have scaled and created 2 global brands in the marketing, consulting, digital tech sectors and a team member of leadership which rolled out Unilever Avinash global tech platform. Prior to joining Damien was CFO of APD, a PE backed ASX listed company.
