On the 120th anniversary of the school’s opening, Wilton attended the St Benedict’s Career Fair this month to speak to and inspire the next generation of professionals. Tucked away in Ealing Broadway, St Benedict’s holds a prestigious reputation as London’s leading independent Catholic co-educational school. Listing notable scholars, politicians and – perhaps most excitingly – Adam Serkis amongst its alumni, there were undoubtedly some future industry leaders in attendance that evening.

With over 250 students involved, Group CEO Tony Flanagan had a number of engaging conversations about career paths, recruitment and how to navigate the changing professional landscape. What’s more, those who weren’t interested in a career in finance at least left with a Wilton tote bag and some Haribo.

In the ‘Banking & Finance’ section of the Fair, we shared the floor with other recognised names such as PwC, Goldman Sachs, UBS, Credit Suisse and HSBC. In between talks, we also took the opportunity to hear about some fantastic local enterprise from so-called ‘Old Priorians’ and other West London entrepreneurs.

Amidst a constantly changing professional landscape, we were delighted to impart some experience to those entering the workforce as they begin on their path. At Wilton, we understand that people are complex and that no career trajectory is a straight line. If you are looking for mentorship – or would like us to attend your own Careers Fair – please do not hesitate to get in touch.
